Our kitchen is very high end with a double Viking oven, stove island with vent hood, flat screen TV, desk area, wet bar, wine cooler, beautiful cabinets and a sloping beamed ceiling. There is a coffer maker, Keurig and most everything else you may need. Our living room is spacious and just off the kitchen, an open floor plan with the dining room adjoining it and the staircase up to the second floor. We also have a wood burning fireplace, 55" TV, two game tables, a ceiling fan and plenty of room for everyone. The dining room table seats 10 with gorgerous chairs and plenty of room. The resort has swimming, boating, hiking trails, golf, tennis, cross country skiing, a Nordic center and three great restaurants on site. There is also a spillway about a 15 minute walk down where the lake forms a beautiful mountain stream with a wood bridge across leading to hiking and nature trails along the lake and a perfect place to swim and walk the dog! This condo is located at the Lake Placid Marina, a 5-minute walk to the town of Lake Placid. We are down the block from the Mirror Lake Inn and across the street from the 2.7 mile brick walk around Mirror Lake. In other words, an ideal location. The condo was recently renovated in a comfortable Adirondack style. The kitchen is large and well-equipped and the condo has a washer/dryer, 2 HD TVs, 2 Blue Ray DVDs, wireless internet and stereo. On the cold nights, the wood burning fireplace keeps you warm and on those warm nights the Adirondack chairs on the deck give you the great outdoors. Two new a/c units have been added for the extra cool factor I know my renters desire. We have two restful bedrooms, the Master has a king bed with an updated bathroom with shower and the guest bedroom has a queen and the use of another new bath. There is a queen sleeper/sofa in the living room for your kids/pals. Lake Placid is an amazing vacation spot for boaters, trekkers, riders, young families, empty nesters, swimmers, skiers, skaters, shoppers, thrill seekers, historians, gourmets and even train-riding wine tasters. Our beautiful condo is an end unit so it's a bit more private and with spectaular views of Lake Placid and Whiteface Mountain. The views from the deck, living room, dining room and kitchen are simply amazing. We overlook the marina, flower gardens, beach and lake plus the Moose Lodge Boathouse restaurant for drinks or dinner. We have 3 bedrooms to enjoy with our master suite on the main floor and with a full private bathroom, king bed, separate vanity area, desk and two closets. The other two bedrooms are upstairs with a queen bed, two singles and sharing a full bathroom. We have a full kitchen with new appliances and our dining room seats 6. The deck is simply amazing as the views alone are worth the trip. We also provide all of the sheets, towels and bedding needed and have several ceiling fans. There is plenty of private parking in front of our condo and the resort is very friendly and easy to access with everything within walking distance. There is an 18 hole golf course, 6 clay tennis courts, a private beach for swimming, a marina, hiking on site as is cross country skiing and snow shoeing in the winter months. The Moose Lodge Boathouse is just below us, the ADK Cafe at the golf center and a 2 minute walk over and the spectactular Lake Placid Lodge and Maggies Pub on site too. Town is a 5 minute car drive away and Whiteface Mountain is 20 minutes. We really love it here and think you will too!
